Unspoken feelings / Topazette

The day before yesterday was probably one of my worst days for this entire month. I had a really bad breakdown in the midst of my painting class.

Not planning on elaborating further on what happened, but I guess I've just been really stressed lately. School, work, friends and over someone......

I always knew how people can't be trusted entirely, and despite how many terrible encounters I've faced, that were already equivalent to getting a huge slap from reality to wake up... I've yet to learn my lesson.

It's just tough. Take it as, I do remind myself not to, but I still tend to fall into it. Perhaps subconsciously. And I don't realize how much I actually trust these people until they screw up, and I get myself hurt.

Not to mention how my mind still wanders off back into the past at times, and how certain feelings still linger around until today.

It's been months, but I just can't seem to get back on my feet. Even though I thought I already did. Sigh. I feel pathetic.

Oh well, life's not always a bed of roses I guess? My priority now is to put my heart into my studies anyway, I don't really wanna bother about anything else for the time being. If my heart allows me to.

Met up with Aug yesterday in the evening for kinda like a "farewell date," bcos he'd be travelling abroad for awhile, and I'm really sad :( My heart felt so heavy, it feels like it sank right to the ground when we parted. I'm gonna miss this dude.

It has only been months, but you've been there ever since I lost someone really dear to me. And even though I've already said most of these things I'm about to say, to you over the phone, I just wanna take this opportunity to remind you how thankful I am for having you in my life.

You were part of the reason why I started to learn how to smile again. The advices you give at times really suck big time hahaha, but you're the perfect candidate who knows how to make me smile genuinely... Which is more than anything I could ever ask for.

Guess I'm gonna save the rest of what I've to say when I speak to you personally. Love ya beb.

So anyway, the shorts I'm wearing is from TOPAZETTE!

Here's a short introduction of them...

Founded in 2009 and revamped in 2013, Topazette is a fast growing online fashion label that offers competitive prices and pays attention to the needs of modern ladies without sacrificing style. With tops priced no higher than SGD30, it is the perfect place for shopaholics looking to fill their wardrobes with fashion forward apparels for both work and play!

They provide worldwide shipping at affordable rates too!
What’s even better? Local delivery is completely FREE OF CHARGE!!!

Here are more pictures taken by Aug.

It's been a pleasure to be able to work with them, and I was having so much fun picking my items! Of course, I also had a hard time deciding since there was a wide variety of items.

I feel that I should have paired the shorts with a light top, preferably something close to white instead. & Would've went for the vintage look and throw on a white-collared shirt/blouse if I wasn't rushing this morning!!!

The frills at the end was what captivated my attention!

They've also given me this really lovely romper which has the prettiest colours and design on it!

Some of the other stuff that they are selling

Just to add on, they've sold more than 200 pieces of the Kaitlyn Cross-Back Top and Beryl X-back Top, which are back in stock! You can check them out and purchase it (here)

Time to pamper yourself and fill those wardrobes up ladies!

Till next time!

Yet another day.

Feeling really exhausted now after a lying on the floor for the past 4 hours working on my art pieces which are due tomorrow.

I'm so drained. So many things to do, yet so little time. Still struggling, and trying to adapt to everything.

At least I'm glad to say that I'm still getting the adrenaline rush every once in awhile, or should I say that spur energy that keeps me going? Whatever.

I just hope this conscientious attitude would continue, and my hard work wouldn't go in vain.

Anyway, just a short update before I hit the sack soon.

Yesterday's details

Snapback - HATer
Tshirt - TOPMAN
Leggings & Watch - ASOS
Accessories: Diva

Just some pictures Cleon took after we were done studying.

If you were having a bad day, I hope the next picture brightens your day (or night maybe) a little haha.

The truth is revealed, this is how I usually sit... lol.

Anyway if you were wondering why there aren't any pictures of him, it's because he's camera-shy. NOT.

And anyway, I'm back on a low-carb diet again since I've been so busy... I barely have any time to work out.

Yeap, which means I gave my mashed potato to Cleon :(

Here are some tips just in case any of you out there need it!

Things you should avoid eating:

1) Sugar: Soft drinks, fruit juices, agave, candy, ice cream and many others.

2) Gluten Grains: Wheat, spelt, barley and rye. Includes breads and pastas.

3)Trans Fats: “Hydrogenated” or “partially hydrogenated” oils.

4) Highly Processed Foods: If it looks like it was made in a factory, don’t eat it.

5) Artificial Sweeteners: Aspartame, Saccharin, Sucralose, Cyclamates and Acesulfame Potassium. Use Stevia instead.

Reduce the amount of dairy products as well - Milk, Chocolates, Cheese etc.

Some of the things you should/can eat:

Beef, lamb, pork, chicken breast, salmon, trout, eggs...

PLENTY OF fruits and vegetables.

You can have a bit of yogurt (Not frolick etc, of course.) / plenty of water before each meal so that lesser space is left to be filled up with food :p

Some random video taken last Friday.

Right, that's all for now!

P/s Decided not to blog about GC weekends because the pictures I have are inadequate. Sorry bout that!

Friday thoughts / Sassydream

It's finally Friday! The day I hate and love the most. Hate it because I have school from 9am-6pm, but love it because it's the end of an exhausting week!!!

So I'm blogging now since I've some time to spare before we've another round of GC weekends!!! Yeap, which explains all the alien-ish stuff behind us in the following pictures with my gay boys (kidding.)

Anyway, let me share with you my tragic story that just took place a couple of minutes ago. Thought I'd take two buses and get here directly from school due to my extremely bad habit of being lazy... Ended up taking the wrong bus and was stranded at some foreign part of this small island for 15mins. NOT TO MENTION how DARK that place was. Lets take a moment to sympathise the poor me.

Should've taken a cab instead.

And there was a guy who (I think) suffered from some illness which appeared to me like schizophrenia??? I'm not too sure about that, couldn't diagnose it with my naked eyes and unfit-to-be-a-doctor-mind. But well my point is, everyone was avoiding him, like no one wanted to sit next to him.

Not that I did, but my mind drifted off for awhile as I thought of how fortunate my life actually is, and I should be contented with it. I mean, it's really cruel how this world can be sometimes, but there's really nothing we can do about it.

People like him didn't choose to be this way, but are still being ostracised... Isn't it sad?

Okay, enough of all these cheesiness.

Gotta go off now!!! Will blog more about today in my next post! You can continue reading on for my review on Sassydreams! ;)

Wanted to skip the part on the introduction since it isn't the first time I'm reviewing Sassydream, but just for the benefit of those who have never seen any of my past reviews previously, here's a bit about them...

Personally, what I love most about them is that they've tons of items to choose from; varying from girly-girl to edgy-chic. I actually die a little inside each time I visit an online store that only sells a couple of items, which limits the amount of choices I have.

You know how once all the pretty stuff are sold out, it leaves you with nothing? Besides, it's a good thing how they've a variety of styles to cater to different people.

And I'd say that their things are rather inexpensive.

Pretty + affordable!

So anyway, I picked two dresses from them this time and I was really happy upon unwrapping my parcel!!!

The first one's this white skater dress in polka dot prints.

Due to my petite size, I have always found it difficult to shop online because the dresses would usually end up being too long or to big, which disappoints me so bad. However, vice versa - I feel so happy whenever I buy one that fits me perfectly well, just like this one!!!

You could pair this dress up with an outerwear, (Blazer/denim or leather jacket/parka etc. It actually goes well with majority since it's white in colour) if you find it to simple on its own.

I chose to wear it on its own because I felt like my accessories could already do the job of enhancing the look.

Thanks to @JulianTayTM for the beautiful pictures.
Taken at Marina Barrage and Gardens by The Bay.

Next is this blue crochet dress! Besides it being one of my favourite colours, the best part about this is that it's stretchable! So you don't have to worry if you've a bulging stomach from a full-set McDonalds meal.

I'm in love with the details and how it's off-shoulder and has a flare bottom!

So anyway, the new collection has just launched at 12pm today! You don't wanna miss out all the good stuff, so hurry!!! :)
