Yet another day.

Feeling really exhausted now after a lying on the floor for the past 4 hours working on my art pieces which are due tomorrow.

I'm so drained. So many things to do, yet so little time. Still struggling, and trying to adapt to everything.

At least I'm glad to say that I'm still getting the adrenaline rush every once in awhile, or should I say that spur energy that keeps me going? Whatever.

I just hope this conscientious attitude would continue, and my hard work wouldn't go in vain.

Anyway, just a short update before I hit the sack soon.

Just some pictures Cleon took after we were done studying.

If you were having a bad day, I hope the next picture brightens your day (or night maybe) a little haha.

The truth is revealed, this is how I usually sit... lol.

Anyway if you were wondering why there aren't any pictures of him, it's because he's camera-shy. NOT.

And anyway, I'm back on a low-carb diet again since I've been so busy... I barely have any time to work out.

Yeap, which means I gave my mashed potato to Cleon :(

Here are some tips just in case any of you out there need it!

Things you should avoid eating:

1) Sugar: Soft drinks, fruit juices, agave, candy, ice cream and many others.

2) Gluten Grains: Wheat, spelt, barley and rye. Includes breads and pastas.

3)Trans Fats: “Hydrogenated” or “partially hydrogenated” oils.

4) Highly Processed Foods: If it looks like it was made in a factory, don’t eat it.

5) Artificial Sweeteners: Aspartame, Saccharin, Sucralose, Cyclamates and Acesulfame Potassium. Use Stevia instead.

Reduce the amount of dairy products as well - Milk, Chocolates, Cheese etc.

Some of the things you should/can eat:

Beef, lamb, pork, chicken breast, salmon, trout, eggs...

PLENTY OF fruits and vegetables.

You can have a bit of yogurt (Not frolick etc, of course.) / plenty of water before each meal so that lesser space is left to be filled up with food :p

Some random video taken last Friday.

Right, that's all for now!

P/s Decided not to blog about GC weekends because the pictures I have are inadequate. Sorry bout that!

Friday thoughts / Sassydream

It's finally Friday! The day I hate and love the most. Hate it because I have school from 9am-6pm, but love it because it's the end of an exhausting week!!!

So I'm blogging now since I've some time to spare before we've another round of GC weekends!!! Yeap, which explains all the alien-ish stuff behind us in the following pictures with my gay boys (kidding.)

Anyway, let me share with you my tragic story that just took place a couple of minutes ago. Thought I'd take two buses and get here directly from school due to my extremely bad habit of being lazy... Ended up taking the wrong bus and was stranded at some foreign part of this small island for 15mins. NOT TO MENTION how DARK that place was. Lets take a moment to sympathise the poor me.

Should've taken a cab instead.

And there was a guy who (I think) suffered from some illness which appeared to me like schizophrenia??? I'm not too sure about that, couldn't diagnose it with my naked eyes and unfit-to-be-a-doctor-mind. But well my point is, everyone was avoiding him, like no one wanted to sit next to him.

Not that I did, but my mind drifted off for awhile as I thought of how fortunate my life actually is, and I should be contented with it. I mean, it's really cruel how this world can be sometimes, but there's really nothing we can do about it.

People like him didn't choose to be this way, but are still being ostracised... Isn't it sad?

Okay, enough of all these cheesiness.

Gotta go off now!!! Will blog more about today in my next post! You can continue reading on for my review on Sassydreams! ;)

Wanted to skip the part on the introduction since it isn't the first time I'm reviewing Sassydream, but just for the benefit of those who have never seen any of my past reviews previously, here's a bit about them...

Personally, what I love most about them is that they've tons of items to choose from; varying from girly-girl to edgy-chic. I actually die a little inside each time I visit an online store that only sells a couple of items, which limits the amount of choices I have.

You know how once all the pretty stuff are sold out, it leaves you with nothing? Besides, it's a good thing how they've a variety of styles to cater to different people.

And I'd say that their things are rather inexpensive.

Pretty + affordable!

So anyway, I picked two dresses from them this time and I was really happy upon unwrapping my parcel!!!

The first one's this white skater dress in polka dot prints.

Due to my petite size, I have always found it difficult to shop online because the dresses would usually end up being too long or to big, which disappoints me so bad. However, vice versa - I feel so happy whenever I buy one that fits me perfectly well, just like this one!!!

You could pair this dress up with an outerwear, (Blazer/denim or leather jacket/parka etc. It actually goes well with majority since it's white in colour) if you find it to simple on its own.

I chose to wear it on its own because I felt like my accessories could already do the job of enhancing the look.

Thanks to @JulianTayTM for the beautiful pictures.
Taken at Marina Barrage and Gardens by The Bay.

Next is this blue crochet dress! Besides it being one of my favourite colours, the best part about this is that it's stretchable! So you don't have to worry if you've a bulging stomach from a full-set McDonalds meal.

I'm in love with the details and how it's off-shoulder and has a flare bottom!

So anyway, the new collection has just launched at 12pm today! You don't wanna miss out all the good stuff, so hurry!!! :)

Dinner @ Wild Honey

I used to hate Sundays... Well, probably cos I've to attend school the following day, and also because it's the day where I'm not allowed to go out (Family Day), but that was some time ago.

Oh well, things have changed and Sunday has become of my favourite days of the week now since it's one of the rare days I get to stay at home and recuperate. (Lol, recuperate from the loss of energy.) Either that, or it's a day I stay at home to finish up all my unfinished work.

Anyway, I ended up getting my lazy ass to Delfi Orchard's Starbucks. I swear trying to look for an empty table at Starbucks in town, on weekends is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Who to blame? My dear friend who suggested it.

At least after all these ramblings, we managed to get a nice, comfy spot at Delfi.

Stayed there for about 2/3 hours before we went to have dinner @ Wild Honey.

It was my first time there, and I promise the environment can be a little intimidating if you're someone who's as clumsy as me. I was pretty afraid that I might end up knocking, dropping or spilling something.

I can be quite disastrous sometimes...... I remember I went to some really "atas" restaurant at The Peak (Hong Kong) once, and spilt over a glass of beverage. Most disgraceful moment of my life.

I'll never have enough space to list down the million of embarrassing stuff I've done, or at least it isn't something I'd be proud to share. :p

So I got myself a fruit salad with yoghurt while Aug got some Toast with poached eggs and grilled bacon. Yeap, that's my fav part - They've an all day breakfast system too.

I had quite a hard time trying to figure out the "right way" to eat this. Sometimes it may look really simple, but there's actually some strange and sophisticated way to eat certain food, who knows right? Lol.

Or was I just being overly paranoid? Sigh, bimbo moments.

Whatever, I just did it my way in the end. Haha.

Stole a bit of his toast, it was mouthwatering. I think I'll end up at this place again in no time.

I'm not a big fan of bacon, but I love how their eggs Benedict, grilled bacon and sautéed mushrooms could complement each other so well.

It's called "European" on the menu, and it's one of their signature/must-try dishes! Just in case you wanna know!

I just had to make a comic out of this cos... I just had to.

No one to obstruct the picture this time, but Aug's face was pretty worth the comic too. First degree pricelessness.

Have I mentioned how cosy the place was?! I love the ambience. I could sit there the entire day to chill if I won't end up being stomped for god knows what reason, or being chased hehe.

Caption for this picture: "Woaaaah... I've never eaten fruits in my entire life before..."

What's a complete post, without some selfies?
