So I'm actually looking forward to the very next public holiday which is National Day. Finally, a break from studying. Meh.
But besides National Day being a public holiday, I guess it is a good day to just celebrate Singapore's growth as a nation. Mind you, I am not trying to be all patriotic and stuff but you have to admit it, Singapore is really safe, clean and a place I can call home. My friends are here, my family too, and not forgetting my shoes, plushies, my bags... :P
I personally have only caught the NDP preview once in my life and I must say it is something worth catching especially the fireworks!!! But the thing is, getting tickets to the show is never easy (yes, I've tried asking around before).
This year NDP feels special to me because for once in my life, I have been appointed as one of the official bloggers for NDP 2012 e-badge & e-pledge! :D
Just some information, basically the NDP Branding and Publicity committee is bringing the Pledge Moment into the social media sphere through the e-Pledge and e-Flag initiatives. For all of you who are assuming that I'm getting paid for, honestly, not even a single cent. However, it somehow feels so good to be part of something national and big, I am really excited about it. :)
